Come with us and let the beauty of Maui’s Upcountry farms and gardens take away your every care. We will begin the day by eating fresh produce at a lavender farm, where they have incredible pineapples, strawberries, bananas, and more. Kula Farms is a family-owned-and-operated farm, and the great-grandson of the founders is running the business now. You can view everything they have to offer at the quaint shack on-site and, if anything stands out to you, you can buy it right then and there. They are known for having the sweetest strawberries on the island, so we recommend those! After we finish here, we will take a short drive to the nearby Kula Lavender Farms. Here, you can sample all sorts of products created with Lavender. From lotions and handsoaps to shaving cream and even brownies, there is something for everyone. Let the calming aroma of Lavender help you unwind as you soak in the morning sun of Maui. Wander around the grounds at your own pace, learning about Lavender, and taking gorgeous photos. After your walk, grab a cup of coffee, a scone, and sit on the porch overlooking the valley. Once we are ready, we will pack our things and drive through the beautiful upcountry to the famous Surfing Goat Dairy. Here, we will take a short thirty-minute tour of the dairy, feeding the adorable goats along the way and getting to sample their famous cheeses at the end. After the tour, we will stop by the shop in case there is any cheese you wanted to purchase. The samples of cheese will surely get your appetite going, and so, we leave for a delicious brunch. Heading South, we drive towards Grandma’s Coffeehouse. This is a local and tourist favorite, the locals coming here to catch up with friends and “talk story,” and tourists coming here for the incredible breakfast foods. Grandma’s has been growing coffee for generations, with many people saying it is the absolute best coffee in the entire world. If you are lucky, there will be some available for you to buy and take home. We’ll enjoy a delicious brunch and a cup of coffee while soaking in the views of this beautiful island. Eat at leisure and take a minute to look through their baked goods afterward. Their desserts are ridiculously good.
With our bellies full, we will head towards our final destination, Iao Valley. Here, we will get out of the car and take a walk to the lookout point so we can see the Iao Needle. It is something that everyone says you must do on your vacation to Maui, and we agree. The verdant foliage and lush valleys are sure to steal your heart. Make sure you bring a camera to take pictures of all the incredible sights you’ll see on this tour. Once we are finished in Iao Valley, we will take you back to where we picked you up.
Notice: If you are allergic to Lavender or other crops, this is not the tour for you, and you should not attend.
